Mrs. McClatchey

Mrs. McClatchey worked for forty-six years in Texas public education in what could best be described a true "labor of love". She was a gifted educator who provided superior leadership to all and shared her knowledge of sound teaching processes with everyone. For twenty-eight years, Mrs. McClatchey influenced teaching and instruction at MISD more than any other person. She had a great ability to employ excellent teachers and staff members and then carry them to even higher levels of achievement through training and encouragement. MISD has been blessed to have an exceptional teaching staff over the years with much of the credit for the talented staff due to Mrs. Dolores W. McClatchey.
